Lyudmila Emag says: “We are dedicated to providing the highest-quality diagnosis and treatment for the patients who are entrusted to our care. NYUI is committed to providing medical care in the safest way possible with respect, dignity and compassion for the patients we serve. We are committed to providing care that is based on the latest evidence-based medical information available, taking into consideration the non-medical needs of our patients.” Compassionate and knowledgeable Lyudmila Emag works in New York Urological Institute in the capacity of a Nurse Practitioner.
Like Medical Doctors, Nurse Practitioners are professionals that are nationally certified in their specialty area and licensed by the state in which they practice. A Nurse Practitioner (NP) is a registered nurse with an advanced university degree. NPs are recognized as expert healthcare providers and are able to provide the same care as a Medical Doctor, such as diagnosing, treating, evaluating and managing acute and chronic illness and diseases, as well as prescribe medications.
Prior to joining NYUI, Ms. Emag was a Nurse Clinician at the NYU Medical Center where she received diverse nursing experience that included anything from day to day patient care after surgeries to a roll off charge nurse.
Her professional interests include male and female urology, diet and nutrition, female sexual dysfunction, basic GYN care, and personal fitness.
